Gurkha's are, quiet frankly, simultaneously the cheerfulist, mischeviousest, earnest and dedicated soldiers I ever met.

Me: "It's blood pishing down!F'ng rain will rust the gats!"
Ghurka: " Yah sah! Prenty of fresh watah sah! No need to wash socks in dahty dish watah sah! Tea sah?"

Alas, no I wasn't with the Ghurka's in the sense that we were in the same reigment or anything like that. But I did have a bloody great load of fun playing enemy with them on exercise.

If you're ever visiting Edinburgh, there's agreat little Nepalese resteraunt just down from the train station off Princess Street. You cant miss it. Big green sign with a pair of crossed kukri painted in gold.
